Nate Weiner

Bio

Nate was CEO and founder of Pocket, a content platform that connects over millions of people a month with stories worthy of their time and attention. He built and bootstrapped Pocket as an indie developer for 3 years prior to raising money and growing the company.

In 2017 Pocket was acquired by Mozilla and Nate continued to operate it as a wholly-owned subsidiary. After a number of years, he took on the role of SVP of New Markets at Mozilla to expand and scale Mozilla's product portfolio.

As both an engineer and prototyper, at his core Nate thrives best in building user-first product experiences. For his early work on Pocket, TIME listed him as one of the 30 Under 30 World Changers.

A native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he has called many a place home from San Francisco, Aspen/Snowmass, to Minneapolis. Nate is also a photographer, traveler and glider pilot.

He is currently working on something new.
